As the Sales and Marketing Team of Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Galleria Manila dig in to exceed the hotels’ budget, they also remember to “dig in” together and celebrate the 1st ever IHG Service Week with a blast!
On the first day of the celebration, the Sales Team excitedly went around giving out “heart pins” to the associates from different departments. This is their simple way of expressing their heart-felt thanks to all colleagues for always extending a helping hand for every “rush requests” and “small favors” needed by the team.
Mid-week of the celebration, it was the department heads’ turn to organize a surprise party for the team! In an afternoon of delight they have made the team feel that amidst client calls and paper works are hearts that appreciates.
Highlights of the surprise party includes the presentation of their “Habitat for Humanity” CSR activity rekindling that one special day when dressing down is a must and glam-look is a big no no, talking about digging the ground for once. There were also exchanges of thank you chocolate kisses among the team signifying inter-departmental appreciation to everyone’s worth.
To top it off, Friday was officially “Dig-in Chips Day” for everyone. Delivering pack loads of chips and smiles, the employees from every corner of the hotels savored to a wonderful day of commemorating service par excellence!
